My last wedding of 2012 was the one for the books!! Claudia and Kerry’s wedding was beyond amazing and it was such a perfect ending to a great wedding season. Remember that couple that I hung out with at Disneyland back in October? Yup, that couple! I got to know them when we were all down in Anaheim for their Disney themed engagement shoot and I’ve fallen in love with them. They are SERIOUSLY the sweetest couple and it made me so happy to see these two lovebirds tie the knot at the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph in San Jose. I truly enjoyed getting to know both set of families and and it was such a blessing seeing them all come together from all over to celebrate Claudia and Kerry.

Congratulations, Claudia and Kerry!! I hope your marriage is as beautiful and joyful as your wedding day.
(P.S. I can’t wait to meet your little one in October!!)

New Website and Blog for 2013!

Eeek!! I am so excited!! Studio Simplicity Photography now has a new look – more simple, clean and modern. I’ve been working with Earl and Layne (they are FABULOUS!!) this past month giving my website and blog a bit of a make-over! I hope it will be easier to navigate and find the info you are looking for! Keep checking back in the next few weeks for new photos but for now, take a look around and let me know what you think!!

When I first met Richelle and Anthony, I immediately could see how perfect they were for each other. After shooting their adorable engagement session, I knew I could not wait for their wedding. They were so in tune with each other, it was so inspiring and fun photographing them. And I knew their wedding would be just as amazing.

By day, Carla and Rob are both busy lawyers working long hours. By night, they are CARLA & ROB, an amazing and sweet couple whose wedding I had the pleasure of photographing in late October. Their wedding was beautiful and romantic and I could ask for nothing more for this couple, Both soft-spoken and shared a love for their two dogs (Ben and Charley), Carla and Rob first met in law school at the University of Oregon and got engaged after Rob proposed to Carla in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. Just how romantic is that?!

The Knot’s Best of Wedding 2013

2012!! What an amazing year!! 26 amazing couples. 26 amazing weddings. And countless new friendships!!

I was floored when I received a call that Studio Simplicity Photography was selected as The Knot’s Best of Wedding 2013!! I am so thankful and humbled to be recognized for simply doing what I love to do!! It is such a blessing that I get to wake up and do this EVERYDAY!! Looking back at 2012, I am so in love with each and every one of my brides and grooms. THANK YOU for making it an amazing year and I can’t wait to create memories in 2013 and beyond!!
